Prerequisite
CARGO_STRIP_PLAN - To access the Actions CFS Plan
Strip option you must have the Cargo Lot Strip Plan - Yard privilege.
Your N4 license must include the GENERAL_CARGO_PLANNING feature to plan the cargo lot stripping.
You can configure the details required to plan for cargo lot stripping using the Strip Plan form. When you create a stripping plan for the cargo lot, N4 allows you to save the details only if you have included the work queue details.
To create a plan for stripping the cargolot:
In the Cargo Lots view (on page 1), select the cargo lot(s) for which you need to plan the stripping.
Select Actions CFS
Strip.
In the Strip Plan form:
From the Work Queue field, select the work queue.
If required, in the Quantity field enter the quantity of the cargo lot.
Click Save.
N4 updates the details for the selected cargo lot.
Also, N4 adds a new record in the Work Instructions view.
N4 allows you to add a plan for cargo lot stripping if the following conditions are satisfied:
If the cargo lot is available in the container.
If the container is available in the yard.
N4 does not allow you to add a plan for cargo lot stripping in the following conditions:
You cannot perform the stripping process on a default cargo lot.
You cannot strip a cargo lot if the cargo lot is already planned for full quantity.
You cannot strip a cargo lot if the planned quantity is greater than the total quantity.
